Ludmila saw an opportunity to diversify and work smarter. She knew she'd be in her shop selling items every day. Why not take a leap of faith and offer some things that aren't office supplies to supplement the seasons when sales are slower? Summer - inflatable mattresses for people in her area welcoming guests into town. Winter - artificial Christmas trees and decorations. When we asked her how her leap of faith went, she said, "Praise God, we've nearly sold it all." Give credit where it's due - to God - when you've taken a leap of faith and He's provided. God used Ludmila to provide items her community needs, and He blessed her in the process, too.
Ludmila displayed a heart of gratitude for God's provision.
No matter which country you live in, you'd probably agree that it's easy for us to give ourselves credit when we come up with an idea and it works out well. Ludmila's example reminded me that our only correct response - no matter how big or small the blessing - is to thank God for His help.
