We all love Pastor Craig. He has this pretty amazing knack for discovering God’s truth in Scripture and then putting it back to us in words, stories, and concepts that we can turn into life-altering action. Really though, who else can turn commercials and viral videos into deep and inspiring biblical messages?
These Biblical truths guard against flaring tempers.
Many of you have replied to these emails and shared one of your greatest parental challenges is dealing with your own anger as you lead and discipline your children. Today, we have a guest writer, Beth Castle, who has great insight and experience in bringing biblical truth to this very real challenge many of us face. –Allyson Evans, Life.Church NextGen Team
The wait is almost over: At the Movies is nearly here! If this is your first summer at Life.Church, let me tell you why this is one of the most exciting message series of the entire year.
I was raised in a broken home. Drugs, alcohol, and physical abuse were common and expected. It didn’t take long for me to take on some of the same characteristics that I saw on a daily basis.
First of all, you should know there are all sorts of arguments about how Jesus rose from the dead on a Saturday or a completely different time of year. There are entire religions full of people who don’t believe Jesus rose from the dead at all. But that’s not what we’re talking about. We’re talking about who we celebrate on Easter and why we celebrate Him. You came for one sentence. Here it goes.
Happy Easter! Celebrating Easter and all that Jesus has done for us is my favorite time of year. This Easter is extra special because it’s also Life.Church Online’s 10-year anniversary!
Last year I started experiencing a health issue. At first I tried to ignore it, thinking it was temporary and nothing serious. As time went on, it became clear that this was not going away, at least not on its own.
Sarah is intelligent, soft-spoken, and kind. She has a gentle laugh and a way about her that makes you feel at ease in a moment. But honestly, I was nervous to talk to her. She lives in a part of the world where it’s illegal to share her faith. As I was preparing for our conversation, I thought, “What persecution have I faced for following Jesus? Nothing that comes close to losing my life or family. I wonder what this conversation will be like?”
It’s hard to believe I’ll be celebrating 20 years of being on staff at Life.Church this coming May. Am I really that old? No—I just started before puberty is all! I’m now the Campus Pastor at our location in Rio Rancho, NM, and I’ve really grown up at this church in more ways than one. I have grown so much over the past two decades in my relationship with God, in how I lead, how I parent, and how I am a husband.
